Tramar Lacel Dillard referred to
professionally as Flo Rida, is an American performer, rapper writer, songwriter
and composer from Carol City, Florida. His 2008 hit single "Low"
reached number one for ten consecutive weeks in the United States. It also set
a record for sales of digital downloads at the time. The album that Flo Rida
released as her debut studio album called 2008's Mail on Sunday, reached fourth
in the US. R.O.O.T.S. succeeded the album in the year 2008. The albums that
followed were the 2010's Only One Flo Part 1 and 2012's Wild Ones charted on US
Billboard 200 charts. Flo Rida has sold more than 80 million records across the
globe, making him one of the most popular artists to sell records. His catalog
includes international hits such as "Right Round", Club Can't Handle
Me" and "Good Feeling". ", and "My Home". Mail on
Sunday, Flo Rida's debut album came out in March 2008. The first single was
"Low" which featured T-Pain. The track was included in the soundtrack
for the film Step Up 2: The Streets. "Low" was ranked as No. 1. on
the Billboard Hot 100 Chart. "Elevator", with Timbaland, "In the
Ayer" which features will.i.am as well as "Roll", featuring Sean
Kingston, charted on the Hot 100, as well as other charts. Mail was awash with
guests on Sunday including T-Pain. Timbaland is the producer on the single
"Elevator", is also included on the track. Rick Ross, and Trey Songz
appeared on the track as well. Lil Wayne performed the song "American
Superstar" while Sean Kingston sang "Roll" which was co-written
by Spitfiya who is a Compton rapper. Birdman, Brisco and Yung Joc are among the
other guest performers. "Money Right" featuring Rick Ross and Brisco
was initially planned to be the fourth track. But, it was scrapped by Flo
Rida's forthcoming studio album, R.O.O.T.S. His second collaboration with
T-Pain "I Bet", as well as the collaboration with Trina known as
"Bout It" They did not appear on the final tracklist, but were
recorded.
